A 58-year-old food vendor, Florence Imoh has been electrocuted while trying to open her shop at the Ikotun area in Lagos state.

According to reports, Madam Florence was found lying dead in front of her shop located at Number 12, Shosanya Street, Ijegun road in Ikotun at about 6.30am on Monday, June 10th.

Investigations by the neighbors revealed that the deceased died after a naked wire had fallen on the metal protector mounted in front of her shop.

A neighbor of the deceased, Sodiq Bello, said 
“We have searched for the cause of the death, and we noticed that a naked wire was resting on the metallic sides of the roof, which had transmitted to other metallic objects in the shop. The building has an electrical defect. She was trying to come out from the shop when the incident happened. Mama Chikodi works and sleeps in the shop. She assists her younger sister in cooking and selling of food early morning''.

Meanwhile the remains of  Madame Imoh who is from Cross Rivers state, has been deposited at the Isolo General Hospital mortuary.

Davido reacts to report that he's on the list of top tax defaulters In Nigeria alongside Obasanjo, Omisore and others'

The Federal Inland Service (FIRS) on Monday August 19, published a list of 19,901 individuals and organisations, who default on tax payment in Nigeria Owners of the 19,901 accounts including  Obasanjo Farms Nig. Ltd (Feedmill); Iyiola Omisore & Par; Citiroof Aluminium Co. The Katsina State Police Command have arrested a suspected member of notorious armed bandits/kidnap syndicate. Parading the suspects alongside others on Saturday, the spokesman of the state police command, SP Gambo Isah, said on June 4, based on a tip off, Operation Puff Adder led by DPO Batsari succeeded in arresting Musa Isuhu,36, of Dumburun bandits camp, Zurmi LGA of Zamfara state, "In the course of investigation, the suspect confessed to have killed at least seven of his victims in various attacks carried out by his syndicate in various communities within Zamfara and Katsina state. Suspect confessed to have participated in the recent attack of Batsarin-Alhaji village, Batsari LGA of Katsina state. Investigation is ongoing." said SP Gambo Isah.
