Nigerians, on Sunday reacted to the eviction of Nelson and Thelma in the ongoing ‘pepper dem edition. DAILY POST reports that Nelson was evicted on Sunday, during Live eviction hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. This makes it sixth and seventh housemates to be evicted from the reality show. Reacting, Nigerians on Twitter said Thelma will be missed every Saturday night party. Senator Ben Bruce took to Twitter to announce that his company, Silverbird Group, is going green by using electric cars. The former Senator representing Bayelsa East constituency revealed in his tweet that he has given a company-wide directive that all new vehicles purchased on behalf Silverbird Group will be electric vehicles. Murray-Bruce also added that Silverbird won't be giving out car-loans to any staff except its for electric cars. He tweeted; I have just given a company-wide directive that all new vehicles purchased on behalf of Silverbird Group will be electric vehicles. We are going to be the first company to go all green. Also, we will not issue any car-loan to any staff except they want to buy an electric car.

A seemingly innocent reply by Davido to a complimentary tweet has set Nigerian Twitter on fire. A fan Tweeted at the singer this morning saying, 'Davido Working with Lyta brings Orgasm to my eyes. Davido has been helping young talent since 1846 There’s nobody around Davido that’s not successful I repeat Nobody, even his gateman is richer than me'. The police in Lagos state have arrested a man, Daniel Isaac, 38, for killing his landlord, Don Able, 58, at the Ikotun area of the state. Spokesperson of the command, Bala Elkana, in a statement released today July 28th, said on Wednesday July 24th at about 5am, policemen from Iba Police Station who were on a stop and search duty at First gate, Agboroko area, Iba flagged down a Toyota Camry which was driven in a reckless and suspicious manner. Two suspects namely Daniel Isaac, 38, and Emmanuel Chukwu, 36. Bala says investigation by the police showed that Daniel Isaac killed his Landlord Don Able ‘m’ 50 years old from Rivers State and dumped the corpse in a well, inside his compound at Owodun street Area, Ikotun. Daniel was escaping with the robbed vehicle of the deceased along with his accomplice Emmanuel Chukwu, when they were intercepted.  Their intentions were to go and sell the car. Two siblings, Chinaza Nwogu and Emeka Ejike are cooling off in police net after they were arrested alongside one Emmanuel Sunday for kidnapping their 88-year-old father, Louis Njoku. Emmanuel said to be Chinaza's boyfriend, had planned using his cut from the ransom that will be paid for the abduction of his would-be father-in-law to pay for his daughter’s bride price. Serena Williams will be paying $10,000 in fines, after damaging a Wimbledon tennis court during a pre-tourney practice session. It was alleged that the American tennis star damaged the practice court at Wimbledon, after throwing her racket before the start of the tournament. The All England Club, the organization which hosts Wimbledon is said to take its grass courts seriously, however Serena won't have to worry about the fine as she has already made $367,000 for making the quarterfinals. Nigerian football legend and former Tanzania coach, Emmanuel Amuneke has broken his silence after he was sacked on Monday.
